I just returned from ten days in Copenhagen, where I managed to shoot a bit of film.
We try to travel to my hometown three times a year: For Christmas, for Easter and during summer.
The city changes completely depending on the period. Summer is of course always amazing, but I also really like Easter, and this year I liked it even more, since it came late, which meant that all of Copenhagen was blooming. Cherry trees, magnolia trees, tulips… Everywhere you turned, there was a sea of pink and white flowers coming at you.
I captured our stay on Kodak Gold 200 with my Contax TVS. The photos below were shot around some of my most favorite places in Copenhagen: The National Gallery of Denmark, the Botanical Garden, and inside the park called Kongens Have.
I have to say I am very pleased with the outcome. I simply adore how the colors green, blue and pink turn out on this film.
I also have a roll of black and white film from our stay, which still needs to be developed.
The old city does present rather well.... Nice.
Lovely. That first image is such a good scene you’ve found
