It was nice to read how you started and to see your pictures; it’s clear you have a deep passion for photography, and that really comes through in your story. Interesting that you mention photographing Firenze in black and white. I feel the same way; I have more black and white photos than colour ones. An instinctive choice, I suppose
Thank you so much for your comment! I do have a deep passion for photography and maybe even more so in the beginning, when it was all new to me. As for shooting Florence in black and white I guess it's also a question of the colors here being less attractive (at least to me) compared to the colors of Rome. The colors of Florence are very earthy (green, brown, yellow) while the colors of Rome are mainly white and pastels. And I am definitely a pastel girl :-)
Love this story. I'm like you, I really enjoy hearing these types of stories and your photos from the time in this post are great, very much in a similar vein to how I shoot, kinda minimal, the small details. Great stuff, thanks for sharing, Birgitte!

You must visit the Cinque Terre then :)
Oh I know! I have been only once and it was before starting on photography. Indeed I would like to come back some day.
I hope you can come back soon. If you have any questions about the best time to visit, photography spots or anything else, feel free to ask
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your nice comment! Maybe you will tell your own story too in a post. I would love to hear it.
