Great photos! I definitely struggle with the balance. I wouldn’t really call myself a photographer, just starting to get into it as a hobby. But I also just feel bad stopping to take photos with my partner. Feels like I’m dragging her back during her vacation too!
Love the colour plus, I’ve never shot that, I’m currently sat online looking for film for a ski trip next week so might see if I can find a decent deal in colour plus
I think it would be very nice for snow if you are looking for something clean with strong colours. I hope you will share the result if you end up getting it!
I will get some, decided on something else for the time being that was cheaper because. Have you tried Kodak vision 3 yet? Its motion picture film respooled into 35mm. It’s very cheap and lovely
I love this series. Also I like the monochrome stuff from Paris, although I certainly know how it is to steal a photo every now and then when being a tourist - nothing bad about it. Adds to the character. Delta100 is really a bit boring though. Thanks for sharing Birgitte!
Thank you so much, Hans! It's great to hear that I am not the only one experiencing the tourist/photographer dilemma. And yes, boring is indeed the right word for this black and white film. But that is why 12 months on film is such a great project. You get to try a lot of different film stocks, and through them you discover which ones fit your personal taste, and what works for the kind of photos you like to make. Thanks a lot for commenting!
Phots are really fantastic! I have been dying to shoot some 100 professional but I like to shoot at f16 or f11 and it’s been so gray and overcast in NY this winter I didn’t pull the trigger…yet. I hear the song of spring though lol
Thank you so much! I too can't wait for spring... Pink flowers are slowly beginning to appear here in Florence. It should be a sure sign, that it's just around the corner...
Photos are outstanding, really love your stuff. The trouble I have is just separating being a tourist and photographer, so I’m not in camera mode the entire time. I get pulled from moments that would be better shared with my partner and not just my camera and I. Definitely something I have to work on balancing better.
Oh, yes. Of course it's important to also take the time to just be a tourist and be together with your travel buddies. But it's a difficult balance, because at the same time you know so well, that what you see may be rare photo opportunities which won't just come again the next day.

Thank you for your comment! I know what you mean. I feel the same way even if I am traveling with very patient people :-)
Great post! Im really enjoying the Color Plus too at the moment!
Thank you, Suzi!

No, I have never heard of that one. I will check it out!

If you want something really grainy but still charming, I may recommend Ilford Delta 3200 to you. I’ve shot it at ISO 1000 and I really like the mood.
I have never tried anything above 400 iso! I will definitely put it on my list. Thanks for the recommendation!

Ps: And thank you so much for your kind words about my photos.
Beautiful images. Film can be so wonderful when used well :)
Thank you so much! And I agree. Film is indeed wonderful :-)
